No one, including us, can transform you into a Knight.
ONLY YOU CAN DO THAT! You do it by the words you speak, the decisions you make, the causes you support and the results that follow.
Simply calling yourself a Knight is not enough. Becoming one takes work. It takes critical introspection, utmost integrity and a profound rejection of what is false.
Not everyone can do that.
Knighthood is a commitment that begins with self-development dedicated to serving the greater good—not as an ego-fantasy but in the real world. It is bringing the ideals of chivalry to life as best we can in our everyday lives, and not only when convenient.
If you don’t want to make such a commitment (and most people fit in this category), you can still help. You can serve even as a part-time warrior for truth, civility and compassion in any way you can. That too is chivalry. Never doubt it. The cause we fight for is the same. The goal of a more perfect world cannot be reached without an awakening of common values in as many people as possible. Everyone has a part to play. For Knights, it’s more of a vocation.
The opportunities to bring chivalry to life are plentiful. All we need is the will to do it.
