The International Fellowship of Chivalry-Now

The International Fellowship of Chivalry-Now (IFCN) is a worldwide fellowship of diverse people who are committed to healing our wounded culture by returning what was lost, an updated mixture of Western realism and idealism for today's world.
In many ways, the IFCN remains a social experiment.
We are not a chivalric order, civic group or club. We have no membership fees or collection plate. Nor do we seek monetary donations. We have no elaborate hierarchy. We welcome people of all ages and all faiths, along with atheists and agnostics. We are a fellowship of people from around the world who view their lives as individual quests.
     Why quests?
When you view your life as a quest, it opens up new vistas of meaning in everything you do. You purposely learn and grow from your daily encounters in order to experience life in its full abundance. It makes you more aware of the moment, more thoughtful - and therefore more authentically alive. It carries you away from a state of mindless following, to a state of personal autonomy, where conscience and reason and intelligence combine to complete who you are.
Chivalry-Now is a cultural philosophy, for want of a better term, that encourages our human capacity to apply reason to conscience in order to reach our highest potential. We freely embrace a Code of Ethics called the 12 Trusts that guides us to reach that potential. For those who want a more in-depth understanding of our ideals, we present a timeline of philosophical concepts that form the foundation of our quest. These concepts reveal the deeper meaning of our cultural inheritance, in order to return the comprehension and enthusiasm of what was lost.
The IFCN is a fellowship of friends who communicate and support each other online. Anyone who joins our Open Forum and actively participates is a member. Those who seem devoted to the 12 Trusts are invited to join the Chivalry-Now Companionship. Companions who show a deep understanding of our foundational concepts, and reflect them in their lives, may be invited to apply for the title of Knight, which for our purposes means a formal recognition of their understanding and commitment. Knights serve on a Council of Knights for administrative purposes and advocacy.

If the ideas expressed by Chivalry-Now interest you, and you wish to get more involved, please join our Open Forum and introduce yourself. if you feel moved to know more, we have a comprehensive website, Facebook page, Open Forum that you can browse around in, and two books that explain the fundamentals. Please avail youself of these services.

Thank you for visiting the IFCN. We hope that you find here what your soul is searching for.
